My First Meeting with iMamoo.

It was for the first time I met him. He stood tall and smart. He was talking to a colleague. This is the first time I heard Mr. iMamoo speak.

“Civilization can only revive when there shall come into being in a number of individuals a new tone of mind, independent of the prevalent one among the crowds, and in opposition to it — a tone of mind which will gradually win influence over the collective one, and in the end determine its character. Only an ethical movement can rescue us from barbarism, and the ethical comes into existence only in individuals.”

Oops!! I think this just went above my head. I am not sure what it meant but it surely confirmed that he was one individual who was highly intelligent. iMamoo, as a normal practice, looked from above his glasses. I was just wondering if his glasses were too big for his nose?

He was still talking,

‘Living with integrity means not settling for less than what you know you deserve, asking for what you want and need from others, speaking your truth, even though it might create conflict or tension, behaving in ways that are in harmony with your personal values and making choices based on what you believe, and not what others believe’

I am not going to answer how much of it makes sense but I love the way he says it. Hmm… I suddenly feel his nose was a little big for his glasses and the glasses were always at the end of his nose. He looked at me squarely, I then knew this is the icy looks of iMamoo. I did not know what else to say, so I remarked “You are very intelligent” and what came to me as a reply was something which would have taken me ages to practice reading, ya I really mean reading, and this is what he said.

“Intelligence is an umbrella term used to describe a property of the mind that encompasses many related abilities, such as the capacities to reason, to plan, to solve problems, to think abstractly, to comprehend ideas, to use language, and to learn. There are several ways to define intelligence. In some cases, intelligence may include traits such as creativity, personality, character, knowledge, or wisdom and this is available to all including you”

Is your head spinning, mine sure is. I find it hard to imagine that I will be dealing with him day in day out. What is going to become of me? The only thing common between the two of us is iPOTT, so I asked him “What do you think of the concept of iPOTT, they say it is going to go places, you believe so?” I made the mistake again:

‘Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true so what do you believe?’
Then it started raining. Am I making sense? It took me some time and I realized that I had fainted after the reply and some colleagues splashed water on me. I could see strange reactions around me and I heard a lot of consoling words ‘not to worry Pottson, you will get used to it’. ‘Take it easy Pottson, its your first day’ . I told myself ‘Pottson, run for your life’. And I disappeared , of course to appear again. See you all soon.
