iPOTT was ideated on 12 October 2005, iPOTT is the first of its kind, web based information centre for all software developed across the world for the Indian Market. It is the destination for both individuals and companies looking for software or software information.

iPOTT currently lists over 5000 software under 126 categories. The user friendly search enables ‘buyers’ to search for their needs within seconds. For the ‘buyer’ it is ‘feel the freedom of various choices of software’ for the very first time.

iPOTT is bringing in a pragmatic shift in the software procurement process. Since our focus is on need and availability we are creating an open market & demand for ‘software sellers’. In this open market competition is irrelevant.

iPOTT is surging ahead with a vision ‘To be the largest source of Software and Software Information’ .

iPOTT is currently providing a wide range of services to the Software Promoters, more exposure provided both online and offline. Some of the services which are applauded are Software on Wheels, CEO Speak, Ad-apt Campaign etc. Following this exposure, the number of software listed is increasing, differentiator has become a must.

We have initiated talks with TUV Rheinland , a global provider of technical, safety and certification services, for introducing “Business authentication seal” for software vendors. This seal will provide visibility and increase trustworthiness of a software vendor.

Very recently we have introduced “Complimentary Service Referral Program” intended to bridge the gap between the Services required by the Software Market and those provided by iPOTT. Few examples of “CSRP”are Payment gateways, IP related Services, ESCROW, Video conferencing, Language Translators, etc.,

She is very sweet, simple and understanding by nature. She is very spontaneous and informative. Makes us feel comfortable whether its work, normal chatting or masti.

Ma’am is very friendly and the way she is guiding us is great.  Whenever she is with us, how whole day goes, we won’t come to know. She is giving us the tips and tricks of  marketing which will be helpful in our career life. After lunch she loves to have  ‘Mint’.

Pritha joined iPOTT Promotional Team 2 weeks back. She has mingled with everyone and talks so much that it feels like from years she is working here. I think she loves talking. She is smart at work. When she is having doubt about work she will torture with her questions to someone who is very clear about the matter. She is very playful in office like a college girl.

Hi, I am Ranjana, soon will be completing one year in iPOTT, and would like to share my experience with iPOTT Softech as 12 days are left to complete 1 year for me. I had my interview on 4th Dec. I know how i struggled for the job, and this was the high time for me to crack the interview any how.

I came for an interview at 9:00 am as it was scheduled for 11:00 am. I was totally scared and was called inside for written test, result was declared for written test and was told to give the interview that time only.Again i was called for interview. I went inside and saw Ma’am giving a big smile, that made me little relaxed. Now interview began she started asking me so many questions i replied all the questions whether wrong or right don’t know. I was there for “Promotional Team” with no background of marketing. After interview she told because of your confidence i am hiring you, this sentence i heard for the first time in interview because every other interview i lost because of no confidence.

This was the time of joy for me, i called my family and friends to tell them “i got the job”. I joined on 12thdec 2007 and this was my 1st job i felt so happy can’t even explain. Then what i started knowing what is our company about and getting prepared for calling, but i was always scared of calling people so Ma’am gave all kind of work except for calling, may be she came to know i am not comfortable with call.

I have learned so much that i can tell myself as “Jack of all and master of none” but will be master in online networking and that is sure. Ma’am gave me Networking, SEO, SEM and all related with internet marketing. She gave me this new things to work on and i love to do something new always. One thing i forgot, i always thought of becoming a Software Test Engineer, because i have that skill also, but i don’t have any regret to become a SEM Analyst.

I feel happy i am doing something new and learning everyday something new.

She is calm and not so talkative but needs to be dragged into the conversation. She loves to watch English movies but hates to study. Really too smart, helping nature and volunteers during free time. One best thing she has got is dedicated towards her assignments. She is always ready to learn new things with enthu.

The enthu with which we started did not last long. The competition was not ‘fair’ enough for us to stay. We were at the 60th place and were sure will move up but reverse happened. It was more luck than professionally conducted.

1. The site was not ready for the traffic and was down greater part of the time and this reduced the voting opportunity.
2. No equal opportunity was available for the competing companies. The SMS system clogged and ’sent sad replies’ like ’server busy’, ‘can’t recognize your format’ etc. Again votes are lost
3. The experts were not available to comment till few days back and when they commented…
4. The newly introduced mail validation system works, not works and then not works…

When we raised our concern we got very good response and we were told that all the problems will surely be addressed by the 2009 Hottest Startup. We knew we were in the wrong place. We withdrew. We were at 115.

Think What happened in ipottisans office last week, one more festival celebration “Vijayadashmi”. As Vijayadashmi was on 8th Oct we started our preparation on 7th Oct. We got balloons, flowers and so many decorative materials on 7th October itself. After seeing those flowers and decorative things everybody of us were eager to start decorating our office but we were told to start after 3:00 pm.

We started with blowing of balloons which is a bit difficult job but this time we got a pump for blowing balloons. Some of us started decorating office with some glittering materials, everybody was doing some or the other job. So many balloons were blown and kept near battery because of that some of the balloons bursted and whoever was standing near those balloons were screaming. Next thing that person can tell is “I have not done anything” it got bursted automatically, I am just standing here”. Then we took those ballons together and kept at safe place they were looking so beautiful with so many colors. Some of us left for home as they were suppose to do pooja preparation at their home too. Some stayed back for decorating the office.

Next day we were suppose to come at 8:00am and one more thing we should be in Ethnic wear. Most of us came at 8:00am and in ethnic wear, one thing I would like to say, Ethnic looks great. We were preparing for pooja and on this day we should put ‘Tilak’ and do ‘Pooja’ for those things which we use in office it can be your system, file and smallest thing stapler. The whole year we will be using it, knowingly unknowingly we may not care for the things around us but this day the respect we give towards those things is like giving life to all the things we use. After putting tilak we organized the whole thing at one place did aarti and pooja.

After pooja and distribution of prasad, iPOTT team had small session were we got so many surprises from our Ma’am, we got gift from office i.e one nice Bag . Nobody came to know How half day went on that day, everyone were little tired and some were in hurry to go home, to do pooja at home also. We left office wishing everybody for ‘Happy Dassara’.

Lots of good views about this cool guy, a very nice and silent person. Good and   ultimate singer that’s what the ipottisans say, especially Tamil songs. Everyone’s fovorite song was “manram vandhu thendralukku”. He is a hanuman bhakth (but he will do everything opposite) good person with lots of innovative ideas. Overall the TEAM iPOTT’s comments are young and dynamic person handles things very smoothly, but really a mastermind.
